Another Week in the WKM

The work continues to progress here.   We have 2 people on date to be baptized in July.
I am still doing well!  This past week was a good one but very busy as usual. We are staying busy with Teaching, Finding, Meetings, Helping other missionaries with their problems, and so on...  The time is going really quickly now.  It is weird to think that its the end of June already!

My talk went well.  I didn't have any notes except the talk that I referenced.  I felt good about it and got lots of compliments.  I hope that it will help the ward focus more on missionary work.

This Friday is ZLC again which will be another good experience.  I will fill you in on all the things that happen:)

Love you all!  Have a fun 4th of July weekend.  I still remember last years fun time at the Scerra Park...lots of good memories...

Back into the Blur.....

So this week has been another full of changes and interesting events.  Although things are pretty hektic at times it feels like it did back in my old area. Last transfer the weeks felt long and it was easy to remember what happened each week but is seems like it is all bluring together again and time is back to being sped up.

Once AGAIN I am in a tripanionship!  (yes #5 on my mish so far).  His name is Elder Henriksen.  There were an odd number of english speaking missionaries so we will be in the tripple till the end of the transfer most likely.  I don't really mind too much.

I had a fun experience this past p-day!  We dropped by a motorcycle dealership and I was able to see a Triumph in person.  I was a little worried about the bike because I was thinking that it might be too tall or big for me but when I hopped on it fit me like a glove! ha ha too bad I couldn't take it for a test drive:(

I will be speaking in Sacrament meeting next week in one of the wards which will be a good oportunity.

One of the kids of our investigators made me put that on:)

"Let your light so shine...I am the light which ye should hold up!"

I am glad that things are going well for all of you!  I love and apreciate you all so much!  Have a good week!

TEN MONTHS!

So this past week we had what is called Zone Leader Council.  All of the Zone Leaders in the mission met with the Asistants and the mission presidency and we have a meeting that lasts for about 6 hours.  It was really a good experience.  There are a lot of changes in the mission lately.  Even though I am a new ZL I will be one of the oldest ones soon. There are 14 ZLs going home within the next 3 months!  (out of probably 20 ZLs in the mission).  I attached a picture of all of us after the meeting.  I bought myself the tie I am wearing in the picture as a 10 month mark present:)

It is weird to think that it was a year ago that I got my mission call and that I will soon be on the down hill end of the mission.
I will be staying in the area I am in now and I will let you know who my new comp is next week in my email.

I love you all!
Thanks for your emails and letters and prayers!

Mother's Day Skype / First P-Day in Kennewick Washington

                                               A Very Happy Mother's Day

Family,

It was soo good to talk to all of you this past weekend!  Skype was pretty fun vs the phone call.  Hopefully it will work out to do that again this Christmas.  There are no real updates besides we got to the temple this morning and do a session the Kennewick temple is smaller but is still really pretty. I sent a picture of me in front.   We are going to be going about our usual p-day stuff after we email and go shopping and then play basketball and other sports as a Zone.  Thank you for all you do for me and for helping make my mission such a great time!

I love you all!

Transfer Week

Hello,

Sunday Night I got a call from President Greer about transfers and he asked me to serve as a Zone Leader in Kennewick:)  It was pretty exciting to find out that I would be leaving.  It will be a big change but I am looking foreward to it!  I will miss the ward I have been serving in and will miss Gary Mundens Baptism this Saturday though:(  I will be covering 2 wards and I have heard a lot of good about the companion I will have.  I will update you more on Sunday when I get to talk to you.  The time that I will be calling will be probably around 4 or 4:30 so it sounds like that will be good with your schedule!  I can't wait:)

Finally We Have SUNSHINE!!!

It is finally feeling a little more like spring is supposed to feel.  We got to over 60 degrees the other day and it has been pretty sunny and should be for the rest of the week but then it looks like back to the rain. one of the newspaper headlines in the local paper read: "don't worry that big firey ball in the sky will go away."  I found that pretty funny:)

Things have really progressed this week with our investigators and the work!
I love you all and appreciate all you continue to do for me!
