July is flying by!

Dear Family (and everyone else)

Im glad you got my package mom! I am also glad that you liked it all.  I am supprised it took so long but i'm glad it funally got there.  I was able to get a signed one from Walter Ranes sister who lives in one of the wards that we cover.  They are a really cool family.  Thank you for sending the pictures.  My room looks a lot different but I like it a lot.  It looks like a comfy bed and I love the picture of George Washington.  I will look foreword to staying in that room in the future:)  Thanks also for the pictures last week.  They brought back a lot of memories from past years with the family. 

This past week was pretty uneventful overall.  We continue to work to find people to teach, teach those we find and baptize those we teach:)

11 Months

Happy 4th of July everyone! 

It sounds like you all had a good one.  I have a lot of good memories from past years spending time with the family and friends! I will look forward to having more of those in the future!

 

For my 4th of July here we had our preperation day.  We drove up to Prosser and went golfing, which was a lot of fun.  It is a private course owned by a member and so we were the only ones playing.  I forgot to bring the memory card from that camera to email today so ill send the pictures of golf in next weeks email.  Our ward also had a small party in the morning.  They did a flag raising and has some breakfast.

 

Zone Leader Council and also Zone Conference happened this past week.  Both were really good.  We received a lot of training about leadership, Teaching by the spirit, Ordinances, and other things to help us be more effective with our time and efforts.  Each companionship got a portable DVD player to use to watch training videos as well. 

I am still having a ton of fun with Elder Olsen and Elder Henriksen.  We are working hard and getting a lot accomplished.
