Things are going well! :)

Vancouver is finally getting  a little more spring like! It continues to pour but the trees are starting to bloom:)  The Blossoms on one of the streets near by our house.

Another 6 Weeks in Vancouver!

So transfer Calls came.... and I am going to be here for another 6 weeks! I will be staying with Elder Richey as well:) I will also be district leader still and there will be 9 people in my district (the sisters will be in a tripanionship) There will be a little bit of a change however in living conditions.  Sister Hill's Dad will be moving into the basement on April 15th and so we will no longer be able to stay there.  We will be moving into a different members home.  I am rally going to miss having my own walk in shower! ha ha

Jimmermania is up here with all the BYU fans (which is a lot of people in the ward).  Probably not as big as it is in Utah though!! Its good to hear that they are playing well despite the loss of that player who broke honor code.  its good publicity for the church though that they held true to their policy rather than letting it slide like all the other colleges would.

We went to the driving range again and I am getting better:) I hit a few over 200 yards!

7 Months In! :)

Hello Family,

There is DL training tomorrow and Wednesday so they decided to switch pday to today.  This morning we went to go email and the Library that we usualy go to was closed.  We decided to go to a near by driving range which was a lot of fun... my first time hitting a golf ball! I hit a few over 150 yards but never got to 200:(  I think we will keep going on pdays because it was only $4 a person.  Part way in I snapped the head off one of the golf clubs (luckily it was one that had been given to us and not one of the nice ones that bro hill had lent us)  we then went shopping and we will be heading over to the stake center after this.  We are at the Camas Library right now.
Things continue to go well here in the area and for me in the mission... Elder Richey and I are working well together We are teaching a lot. the sun was out today!
I love you all and will look foreward to hearing from you all! I pray for you often and
Love,
-Elder Matt Bowen

MARCH ALREADY!!!!

Hi,  I hope things are going well for you all! From what I hear it sounds like life is going overall pretty smoothly.

Life is going well for me as well.  There has been a small decrease in teaching this last week.  There have been a lot of people who have been sick and not wanting to meet with us lately. Things are still pretty busy though.  It has started to be really rainy again.  It finally got cold enough to snow and then the next day it warmed back up into rain.  Having been here in Vancouver for 5 1/2 months I have pretty much started to have webbed feet and hands.  I am still taner than most of the people here though:) haha

Elder Richey and I continue to get along well and have a lot of fun together.  Time is going pretty quick still too.  We are already half way through the transfer.  It doesn't feel like it has been 3 weeks already.

I continue to pray for all of you and think about each of you lots.   I enjoy getting your letters.  Thank you for taking the time to write me.  It means a lot!

Love you all!!!
